Great Vision All Day! No Change in Prescription! By Jeff Broadhead O.D. on December 14, 2021

Great Vision!  No Progression of Nearsightedness!

Meet Aria from West Jordan.  She loves skiing, sewing, dancing, and reading!

Great Vision with iSee Ortho-K

When we met Aria two years ago, her glasses prescription had just made a big jump.  She was seeing 20/800 in both eyes without glasses.

We prescribed iSee Ortho-K to both correct her nearsightedness and keep her eyes from getting worse every year!

She has been wearing her iSee Ortho-K lenses now for two years.  Today her vision is 20/20 without any glasses or daytime contacts, with no need to increase her prescription!

What is Ortho-K?

Ortho-K uses super-breathable "retainer" lenses to correct your vision while you sleep!

Ortho-K is also known by the brand names of some of the incredible designs we use, such as iSee Ortho-K, CRT (Corneal Reshaping Therapy), Dreamlens, and Moonlens.

How Much Does Ortho-K Cost?

We take a global approach to Ortho-K as a therapy.  Rather than charging for every exam and ever lens change, our patients pay a one-time initial fee of $1,998 which includes all the training, fitting, and follow-up visits plus all lens changes necessary to achieve optical treatment.

In subsequent years, the annual renewal is beteen $400 and $500 depending on the lens type used.  The renewal includes one lens change per year as needed and all follow up visits.  We do not bill insurance for Ortho-K services.

Who Do I Find Out if Ortho-K Will Work for Me or My Child?

Ortho-K works best for patients with low to moderate nearsightedness and astigmatism.  Not all prescriptions qualify.  A consultation is required to verify candidacy.
