Yearly Vision & Eye Health Evaluations

A yearly vision and eye health examination is an important way to maintain your quality of life.

Your yearly vision exam helps us ensure that you are seeing your best. We routinely help people overcome their nearsightedness, farsighted, astigmatism, and “over-40 vision” by means of glasses, contact lenses, and both surgical and non-surgical refractive procedures. We’ll also spend time learning about the way you use your eyes so we can recommend those treatment options that are best for your lifestyle.

Your yearly eye health evaluation helps us check for eye disorders like glaucoma, cataracts, and macular degeneration. Since disorders like these don’t always have obvious symptoms, even people who don’t need glasses should have an annual vision and eye health evaluation.

Treatment of Eye Disease & Urgent Appointments

If you are diagnosed with an eye disease, you want only the best treatment available to get your eyes healthy again. If you or a family member has red eyes, painful eyes, sudden onset of floaters or flashes of light, or a foreign body in eye, you can call us day or night, even on weekends. Dr. Broadhead is a “therapeutically certified” optometrist fully trained to handle most urgent eye problems. Based on your diagnosis, we may recommend a wide variety of approaches, including improved nutrition, prescription medicines, therapy and vision exercises, or medical procedures. We also have excellent rapport with specialists in the area for those who need more advanced care.

We are pleased to offer in-house lens edging. This allows us faster turnaround time on most common orders, sometimes in as little as 24 hours.
