Jeff Broadhead, O.D. received his Doctor of Optometry Degree, graduating “with distinction” from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1998. A recipient of a coveted United States Air Force scholarship, he served for three years as Chief of Optometry at Malmstrom AFB in Great Falls, Montana. During his time at Malmstrom AFB, he was an adjunct professor of optometry for Pacific University College of Optometry and the Illinois College of Optometry, supervising and teaching fourth-year optometry students during their clinical rotations. In 2000, he was named Air Force Space Command Optometrist of the Year.

Dr. Broadhead has practiced in Utah since 2001, founding Progressive Eye Care in 2005. He has established a reputation as a very skilled, personable, and thorough clinician. He is highly regarded by both his patients and other doctors.

Ever since his time as a business major and “pre-optometry” student at Brigham Young University, Dr. Broadhead has participated in humanitarian eye care missions to Mexico. He led two missions as a fourth-year optometry student, and continues his efforts to gather used glasses to benefit the underprivileged as a member of the Lions Club.

Dr. Broadhead and his wife, Melanie, have resided in West Jordan since 2001. They are the parents of six children, five of whom are adopted.

Dr. Broadhead's personal hobbies include writing and recording music in his studio and performing live music with his wife and children.
