Dr Jeff Broadhead, OD

Dr. Broadhead graduated “with distinction” from Pacific University College of Optometry in 1998. He served for three years in the United States Air Force and was named the Air Force Space Command “Optometrist of the Year” in 2000. He has been practicing in the Salt Lake Valley since 2001.

“Dr. Broadhead was born and raised in Alberta, Canada. Prior to optometry school, he graduated from Brigham Young University, where he met his lovely wife Melanie. They are the parents of five children. His hobbies include singing, song-writing, and playing guitar.

Sheila Hay, Certified Optician
Sheila has a warm, out-going personality that you’ll love the moment you meet her. She is a highly-qualified, certified optician with over 14 years of experience. Whether it’s helping patients select just the right frame and lenses, or helping sort through the often confusing world of vision insurance benefits, Sheila does it all with class. Sheila and her husband, Jeff, are the parents of two wonderful children.

LaDean Ribas
LaDean was one of our first patients when we opened our new office. We enjoyed her so much we offered her a job. LaDean’s warm personality will help you feel welcome and comfortable. She helps us as a receptionist, frame stylist and technician.

BJ Lund
BJ is a student at Kearns High School. He works as a part-time ophthalmic technician, assisting the doctor with pre-testing of patients, performing fundus photography and other computerized vision testing. His interests include video editing and filmmaking.
